The main function of our clamp is with the modular options that is compatible with existing camera accessories that uses 1/4 inch screws which makes it a very versatile tool.
With the tripod, it becomes a table top pony. With the C clamp, you can attach it to table/flat tops. With the C Clamp and L Bracket, you can bring it lower for bigger projects or higher to stitch in a standing position. The stitching options are open to provide comfort and versatility to the crafter while making it portable at the same time. Great for use on the road/trips or in smaller apartments too!
On a side note, the parts can also be used with your camera equipments.

What a great design! It works so well.
I bought the set with the C clamp and the L bracket. Took me a bit to work out the setup that’d suit me but now that I have I’m not going back to the clamp I was using before. The ball and socket joint on the Crimson clamp means you can position your work at any angle you want , and it’s quick to do too. I especially like the lever on the side to open and close the jaws - again, so quick - and it tucks in so your thread doesn’t get caught on it (my other clamp has several annoying ‘thread catchers’). The degree of grip on the clamp is very adjustable, and the jaws hold your work securely. Things I’d change if I had a magic wand would be: make the jaws longer (they are a bit short for bigger items like bags); make the height adjustment screws on the L clamp less fiddlly to use and eliminate the need for a separate key to tighten them; come up with a better option to attach the clamp to the horizontal of the L clamp (that little threaded rod with no ends on it is a pain); include some instructions for assembly. That said, this clamp is excellent and I would absolutely buy it again in a second.
Super solid wood and amazing functionality, so glad I bought it as soon as it dropped. I have two others and they look like kids toys compared to this beauty. My only feedback would be that it would be great if it could come with instructions for installation.
