Continuing with our arc series, the Crimson arc beveler is designed to fit the contour of the hand with a low profile handle and a blade that runs parallel to the leather. This provides excellent stability and control. Comes sharp out of box with interchangeable blade that is secured by 2 hex screws. Handle is compatible with interchangeable skiver blades.

Material:  Blade is made using DC53 steel. Ebony handle.

#0: Internal width of cutting edge ~0.6mm. Suitable for edging either side of the leather between 1 - 1.7mm thickness

#1: Internal width of cutting edge ~1mm. Suitable for edging either side of the leather between 1.8 - 2.4mm thickness

#2: Internal width of cutting edge ~1.4mm. Suitable for edging either side of the leather between 2.5 - 2.9mm thickness

#3: Internal width of cutting edge ~1.8mm. Suitable for edging either side of the leather between 3 - 3.9mm thickness

#4: Internal width of cutting edge ~2.2mm. Suitable for edging either side of the leather between 4mm and above thickness

    Nice ergonomics and razor sharp

    Love all the arc series of tools. Very comfortable to use and produce a nice rounded bevel.. The handle design really makes it easier to get a consistent bevel.

    Beautiful.

    I’ve just started teaching myself leatherwork (with the help of YouTube!) and wanted to start out with good quality tools. I settled on Crimson Hides, because others’ experiences seemed to be so positive and all the tools look innovative, functional and beautiful. I’ve now made two orders from Crimson and am about to make a third. Everything I’ve bought has exceeded my expectations. This edge beveler is a perfect example of why - it’s so easy to use, it does exactly what is promised, it feels wonderful in the hand, and it is a work of art to look at. Couldn’t be happier.

    A beautiful bevel

    Very unique and eye-catching design - quite different from my more traditional edgers. Extremely comfortable in the hand, sails through the leather with ease, and I love the fact that the blades are interchangeable. Very well-made: robust, yet elegant. In the future, I'd love to see a #5 (2.6mm) and #6 (3mm) size made available.
