French 5mm 9 teeth out of stock. Restocking around Week of 9th September. All orders placed with this will be on preorder basis.

Made using DC53 steel. Comes sharpened with an antique finish for a firmer grip. Slim french shaped teeth creates smaller, refined holes.

For 2.45mm and 2.7mm irons please select from 2, 6 and 10 teeth options. All other sizes come in 2, 5 and 9 teeth options. 

2.45mm - ~10.5spi, 2.7mm - ~9.5spi, 3mm - ~8.5 spi, 3.25mm - 8 spi,

3.85mm - 7 spi, 4mm - ~6 spi, 

14 teeth is only available in ready stock for 3.85mm. For all other sizes, the wait time is around 3 weeks from order.

    Fantastic, sharp, polished pricking irons.

    They're slender a good way up the teeth, so you can punch through the leather completely. This makes it possible to punch both sides of your leather to get gorgeous stitches on a saddle stitch on each side. No stitching awl gouges. The back looks as beautiful as the front.

    These have been my go to irons for several years now. Love them for the beautiful angled stitch you can get. Pleased they’re now also available in 14 tooth.

    French irons and creasing irons

    Excellent products. The only improvement I would make is to round down one side of the creasing irons (which side depends on if you are R or L handed). This is because if both sides are sharp, the side running along the cutting board can get caught in an old groove on the board and start to follow that. Really good products though.
