Made using DC53 steel. Comes sharpened with an antique finish for a firmer grip. Slim french shaped teeth creates smaller, refined holes.
For 2.45mm and 2.7mm irons please select from 2, 6 and 10 teeth options. All other sizes come in 2, 5 and 9 teeth options.
2.45mm - ~10.5spi, 2.7mm - ~9.5spi, 3mm - ~8.5 spi, 3.25mm - 8 spi,
3.85mm - 7 spi, 4mm - ~6 spi,
14 teeth is only available in ready stock for 3.85mm. For all other sizes, the wait time is around 3 weeks from order.

Just picked up a set of 3mm irons, and I couldn't be happier. I also own a set of ks blade and amy roke irons and I would say these are a beautiful middle ground between the two in terms of design. Really feels like the best of both worlds.
I've used many pricking irons over the years, but Crimson Hides have become my go-to. They glide through thick leather effortlessly—almost like cutting through butter. This is actually my second set; I own both the 3.38mm and 4.0mm, and I really appreciate the refined, delicate look the smaller size gives my stitching. While they are an investment, the quality is exceptional and absolutely worth it. These irons are easily among the best tools in my workshop.
