I'm very impressed with my 3mm irons. I was concerned the smaller pitch wouldn't be finished very well. Everything is dead-straight, and well polished. They cut like butter.

The sharpness and polish are such an amazing quality I can press it straight through the leather just with my hand it’s so sharp.

I recently purchased 2 sets of French style irons as well as a few accessories from CH. the quality of the irons surpassed my expectations. The irons are very sharp and easy to hold and manipulate in use. They have a lovely weight and seem to be manufactured of excellent quality steel. They are a joy to use and should last a lifetime with proper care and maintenance. All items shipped quickly to Canada, well ahead of the predicted timeframe. These irons are the best I have ever used. I have five different Crimson stitching irons and use them constantly. I can't say enough about the sharpness and durability of these tools.
