The threads from Japan, Osaka, are made using an intergrated bonding process, where they are glued together as it is being spun. This prevents fraying which makes it particularly suitable for handstitching. It has a silk like texture with excellent strength.

I bought multiple items after purchasing the sample colour sheet. The thread itself is strong and so far has not frayed or snapped. Fantastic range of colours, I will be buying again.
As with the lighter threads I have purchased, these are of good quality and give good results.
These are good quality threads, I’ve also purchase the 0.4mm and the thicker 0.6mm threads. There is a wide range of colours to select, but this can be quite a challenge to differentiate the colours to get what you really want.
