The Dory Wallets

This is a PDF leather wallet pattern of the Dory Wallets with four or six card pockets and capacity of up to eight cards and folded cash. It is optimized for 4mm pricking irons or stitching chisels. The Dory Wallets is a modular leather pattern - by combining different versions of the same pattern elements you can create over 15 different looking wallets. The illustrations included in the pattern pages will give you some of the possible variations but there are even more possible. The leather wallet template allows for diverse leather and thread combinations and its compact size makes it suitable for front pocket carry. The printable PDF wallet pattern includes also a 3mm full trim allowance version to achieve smoother and easier to finish edges. A supporting Customer Choice Aid file is included in the download that will help your customers choose the Dory Wallet variation they want you to craft for them including pocket shapes and colors of the different wallet elements. A matching shape key fob pattern is in there too. ;)

Dimensions: 10.6/8cm (~4.2/3.2 inches)

Capacity: up to 8 cards and folded cash

Skill level: Beginner

Leather:

> 1.2-1.4mm thickness (3-3.5 oz), for the interior pieces

> 1.4-1.6mm thickness (3.5-4oz), for the exterior

The 6-pockets Dory

Dimensions: 11.5/8cm (~4.5/3.2 inches)

Capacity: up to 8 cards and folded cash

Skill level: Advanced (skiving may be required)

Leather:

> 1.0-1.2mm thickness (2.5-3 oz), for the interior pieces

> 1.4-1.6mm thickness (3.5-4oz), for the exterior

The Dory Key Fob

Dimensions: 7/3cm (~2.75/1.2 inches)

Skill level: Beginner

Leather: 1.4-1.6mm thickness (3.5-4oz); the Top Plate can be thinner.

Basic Instructions

> Print pattern at 100% scale and verify size using the Print Accuracy Test. Measure and cut on the outside edge of the lines.

> The stitching holes are spaced at 4mm and are also 4mm from the edges (red stitch lines are 3.5mm off the edges). If you don’t want to use trim allowance, you can cut the patterns along their black edges instead of the dark grey outlines.
